Privacy Policy

FutureMini is operated by FutureLearner.ai Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202509736Z), a company incorporated in Singapore with its registered address at 190 Middle Road, #12-06, Fortune Centre, Singapore 188979. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to that company.

This policy explains what personal data FutureMini collects, why, who else processes it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is governed by Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

It covers the FutureMini product only. Our parent company’s other services have their own policy at futurelearner.ai/privacy.

We collect only what the product needs to work. Specifically:

We do not currently run analytics, advertising or tracking tools on FutureMini, and we do not buy or sell personal data.

We use your data to:

• Generate, store and play back lessons you ask for.
• Personalize lesson content to your stated interests, learning style and level, when you enable personalization for that lesson.
• Narrate lessons, including in your cloned voice if you have set one up.
• Operate your subscription, grant and deduct credits, and prevent abuse.
• Run an automated safety check on attached source material before it is used to build a lesson.
• Respond to your support requests and fix reported defects.
• Meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Our legal basis under the PDPA is your consent, given when you create an account and when you choose to upload material, clone your voice or generate a headshot, together with our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service.

Generating a lesson means sending your topic, and any material you attached, to specialist third-party providers who perform one step and return a result. We use the following categories of processor:

We do not train our own models on your content, and we select paid service tiers rather than free tiers that permit training on submitted content. Each provider processes data under its own terms and only to return a result to us; none of them is permitted to use your content for their own purposes.

We do not publish the individual providers behind each category, and we may add or replace one as the product changes. If you need to know which providers process your data — for example, to satisfy your own compliance requirements before uploading material — email eddie.ho@futurelearner.ai and we will tell you.

Voice cloning and AI avatars are optional features you switch on yourself. They involve data that is more sensitive than the rest, so they get their own rules.

• You must be the person in the recording and the photograph.Do not upload another person’s voice or face, even with their permission — the feature exists to let you present your own lessons.
• Your voice sample is sent to a speech-synthesis provider to create a cloned voice tied to your account. You can delete the sample and the cloned voice at any time from the dashboard, which deletes it at that provider as well.
• Your photo is sent to an image-generation provider to produce a professional headshot, and that headshot is sent to a video-generation provider to produce lip-synced video. You can delete your headshot at any time.

• Uploaded source files are deleted from storage as soon as the lesson finishes generating, or immediately if the safety check rejects the material. We keep only the file name and type so the lesson card can show what it was built from.
• Lessons are kept until you delete them. Deleting a lesson removes it and its generated media.
• Your voice sample, cloned voice and headshot are kept until you delete them or close your account.
• Account and billing records, including the credit ledger, are kept for as long as your account is open and afterwards where we are required to retain them for tax and accounting purposes.
• Support screenshots submitted with a scene report are kept while the report is open and for a reasonable period afterwards for quality review.

We share personal data only with the processors listed above, and only to the extent they need it to perform their function. Beyond that, we disclose data only where we are required to by law, court order or a valid request from a public authority, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

Lessons are private to you unless you share one. Sharing a lesson creates a link that anyone holding it can open. You can stop sharing a lesson at any time.

We use a small number of cookies, all of them functional. Session cookies keep you signed in; a few short-lived cookies remember where you were in a flow — for example, the topic you typed before signing in — so it is not lost on the way back.

We set no advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not use cookies to track you across other websites. Blocking the session cookies will prevent you from signing in.

All traffic is served over HTTPS. Data is stored with row-level security so that a signed-in user can reach only their own rows, and privileged server-side access is always scoped to the authenticated user. Uploaded source files, voice samples, photos and support screenshots live in private storage reachable only through short-lived signed links, with the exception described in section 5.

No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, or you have found a vulnerability, email eddie.ho@futurelearner.ai and we will respond promptly.

Under the PDPA you may ask us to:

• Give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you and tell you how it has been used.
• Correct anything inaccurate.
• Delete your account and the personal data associated with it.
• Withdraw your consent to a particular use — for example, by deleting your cloned voice or headshot while keeping your account.

Some of this you can do yourself from the dashboard. For anything else, email eddie.ho@futurelearner.ai and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first. Deleting your account does not revoke links to lessons you previously shared publicly, so unshare them first if you want them gone.

We are based in Singapore and host the application there, but the providers described in section 4 operate outside Singapore, including in the United States and China. Where personal data is transferred abroad we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a standard of protection comparable to that required under the PDPA, through the contractual terms of the service we use.

FutureMini accounts are for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under that age. Lessons created on FutureMini may of course be shown to students of any age, but the account holder must be an adult. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as the product changes. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect.
